Our Name, History and More

What does "Crucis" mean?

Crucis is the Latin word for cross.

Founded in 1947

The Episcopal Diocese of Dallas founded Camp Crucis and we later became a ministry of The Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth. We are a Bible-believing Anglican fellowship with more than 50 churches in Texas and Louisiana.

Devoted to Jesus Christ

We are devoted to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We display God's love as we serve at Camp Crucis. We hope you'll encounter God in deep, transforming ways when you're here.

Welcome

All are welcome. Our rules apply to everyone, regardless of your background, beliefs or abilities. We are licensed by the State of Texas.

What do we offer?

See our What We Do page to find out about our activities, amenities, acreage and much more.
